SupCenter10.co.uk - Pre-Upgrade Maintenance on January 24th, 2008

The Technical Department of 50Webs would like to inform you of a pre-upgrade maintenance to be performed on SupCenter10.co.uk on January 24th, 2008. The maintenance is scheduled to start at 9:00 AM GMT (4:00 AM EST), with around 2 hours downtime expected for all web hosting services.

The procedure will include re-arrangement of the server partitions, which is to be done in order to prepare the server for entire replacement of its HDDs (Hard Disk Drives) with new better and faster ones. In result the working performance of the server will be improved so much that the current occasional timeouts, some of you might have been facing from time to time, are certain to disappear.

The installing of the new hard disk drives is planned for next week, and we shall let you know about it well in advance. We guarantee that all the data stored on the server will not be affected in any way and would like to apologize for any inconvenience you might suffer during the downtime.
