Renew Your Domain Name ID Protection Service

To the attention of all 50Webs Web Hosting customers! We are happy to inform you that, as of today, you are able to renew your domain names' ID Protection (IDP) service.

ID Protection service can be ordered for .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .BIZ, .TV and .CC domain name extensions. If you activate an IDP service for your domain name you are allowed to mask the WHOIS information that you present when purchasing the domain name and thus protect your identity against spammers, stalkers and fraudsters who obtain information from the public data of domain names. The service can be ordered only on an annual basis - for one year (to be active till the expiration of the domain name, e.g. 10 months if 10 months left till the expiration date, or 12 months - if the domain is newly registered), as well as for multiple years.

If you wish to renew your IDP service, you need to go to the 'Domain Manager' section of your Web Hosting Control Panel, or to the 'Upgrades' -> 'Renew Plan' section. To renew the ID Protection service only - visit your 'Domain Manager', click on the IDP type icon against a particular domain name - a tooltip with renewal option will appear. If you wish to renew the IDP service together with the respective domain name, you will need to select the option 'Renew' domain name. If you wish however to renew the IDP service together with whole web hosting account, you need to go to 'Upgrades' -> 'Renew Plan' section in your Web Hosting Control Panel.

Renewals of this service can be made for one year and for multiple years. Monthly renewals are not available. Note that, if you have less than 12 months till a domain name expiration, you will be able to renew the IDP service for one year only, multiple-year renewal option will not be allowed.
