php.ini File is Available for Management
23.05.2007
Our efforts to tailor the Control Panel to the ever-expanding online demands of our web hosting customers have produced another good result. We have added a new feature which allows you to customize the php.ini file (a PHP configuration file) for all your PHP-based scripts and applications. This file let you choose whether global variables are switched on, the directory to upload files to when you write scripts, and the maximum allowed size for uploaded files.
You can modify the php.ini file for both PHP 4 and PHP 5 in accordance with the PHP runtime version you have selected for your scripts in the PHP Settings section of the Control Panel. Please go to your /sys folder, located in the root of your account where you will find two folders - php4 and php5, each of them containing a separate php.ini file. For instance, if you are using PHP 4 for your scripts, simply modify the php.ini located in the /sys/php4/ folder using a text editor. Then the change in settings will influence all php files in all the folders of your account.
You can find more information about the typical php.ini settings, on the core php.ini directives web page.
