COM.MX TLD Available Now For Registration and Management on 50Webs

50Webs are pleased to inform all present and future customers that a new TLD - COM.MX - has been included in our domain extensions list. This is the country TLD for Mexico, however, as there are no restriction requirements for registrant's nationality or residence, it is available for registration to anyone who might find it interesting. Certain requirements set by the .MX Registrty - nicMX - make this TLD differ from the others we offer, that is why, we hereby would like to offer to your attention some relevant information:

Registration Period: The registration period of .COM.MX domains is 2 years.
Domain Renewal: Available for 1 year only; renewal requests must be received before the expiration date. Once the domain name has expired the registrar will remove it from the account we have with them and we will then have no further control on its management. Approximately 16 days after the expiration of a domain name it becomes generally available for registration.
Pre-Configuration: The .MX registry requires confirmation from the registrant that he or she agrees with the domain renewal policy. For that reason, an additional step has been included in the domain registration process.
WHOIS Management: After the registration of a .COM.MX domain the WHOIS information cannot be further modified from the web hosting Control Panel. The way to change the WHOIS information is to open a trouble ticket from the Help Center in the Control Panel. The nicMX registry will have to review the new WHOIS information offered and will then approve or reject the request. In cases when the WHOIS change request has been rejected, we will use the opened ticket to send notification to the registrant.
WHOIS / ID Protection: .COM.MX domains cannot benefit from this service.
Registrar Change / Transfer: It is possible to transfer a .COM MX domain name from our registrar to another registrar, but not vice versa.

We hope that the launch of the .COM.MX TLD will be a good response to the needs of our increasing number of customers from America and Mexico, whilst for the demands of our Germany clients we are sure to have the .DE TLD in our domain extension in no time.
